You are invited to “A Gathering of ONE” A Call for Pittsburgh to Respond to the G-20 as ONE body of humanity, ONE planet, united in peace.  Why: To set the Intention for humanity to experience our interconnection and unity on behalf of peace. Where: The West End Overlook, Pittsburgh PA 15220 When: Thursday September 10 from 7:00-8:00 PM The City of Pittsburgh has been chosen for the G20 Summit on the basis of its transformation in the areas of economics, environment, and quality of life. Pittsburgh has another unique and unexpected claim… as a city of spiritual transformation. Our 3 Rivers’ sacred geography has been affirmed by leaders from other cultures including the Dalai Lama. Mayan Grand Elder Don Alejandro (Mayan High Priest, consultant to President Colom of Guatemala) visited Pittsburgh to confirm our city’s 3 Rivers’ link to their ancient Mayan 2012 prophecies and our destiny as a city of spiritual transformation. Pittsburgh will initiate stepping into that destiny on September 10, 2009, as it inaugurates the Gathering of ONE. At this gathering we will set the intention for humanity to experience our interconnection and unity, and affirm that We Are All ONE -- one planet, one body of humanity, one Spirit. This gathering will launch the ONENESS prayer/meditation of September 11-25 (www.Peaceburgh.com), which will be coordinated with additional peace intentions focused on Pittsburgh through: www.CommonPassion.org, and The Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers (www.GrandmothersCouncil.com), Association of Unity Churches International (www.Unity.org), and the World Day of Prayer (http://WorldDayofPrayer.org), which occurs this same date.
